Is This Our First Real-Life Look at the Galaxy S26+?

There’s frankly been no shortage of leaks as we get closer to the Galaxy S26 series. Thanks to renders and marketing materials, there’s almost nothing we don’t already know about how the lineup looks. But renders are one thing, and real-life photos are another. A set of images making the rounds on X might give us a look at the Galaxy S26+ in the flesh.

The Galaxy S26+ may have leaked in the flesh

@Kakooli98 on X posted a set of images of what appears to be a Galaxy S26+ unit. Again, preorders haven’t started, Samsung hasn’t officially announced these phones, and it’s still fairly early for an unreleased device to show up like this. But it’s reportedly being sold on a platform, and one thing that stands out is the engraved code, which is pretty common on unreleased units. Take a look at what could be the Galaxy S26+ first:

We won’t get into what the person who allegedly leaked these images might face. Instead, let’s focus on what they show. There isn’t much new compared to the Galaxy S25+, aside from the redesigned camera island, which we’ve already seen in plenty of leaked renders.

There’s one thing Josh pointed out when we were discussing whether these are real. He noticed that the leaked Galaxy S26+ images use older wallpapers, basically the same ones found on the Galaxy S25. Replying to a comment, Daniel Scuteri on X suggested that early engineering samples often use older wallpapers. That might explain why.

The bottom line is that we won’t know for sure if these are real-life images of the Galaxy S26+ until Galaxy Unpacked. Still, considering all these factors, this could very well be our first look at what Samsung has been working on.
