IFA 2025: Samsung Aims for 1 Billion AI Devices in Homes Within 3 Years

In recent years, Samsung has focused on integrating more AI features to its smart devices, and the strategy has proven successful. The company now aims to bring 1 billion AI-powered devices into homes around the world within the next three years. The announcement came at a press conference held at IFA 2025, Europe’s largest consumer electronics trade fair.

Samsung shares its vision for AI-powered devices at IFA 2025

At IFA 2025, Samsung showcased its vision for “AI Home: Future Living, Now,” offering visitors a hyper-personalized experience. It highlighted Samsung AI Home’s key features, such as personalized sleep management, recipe recommendations, remote monitoring, and energy-saving mode. Over 800 journalists and partners attended the event, where Samsung shared its AI Home plan.

“Within the next three years, 1 billion Samsung AI devices will spread across households around the world,” said Kim Cheol-ki, executive vice president and head of Digital Appliances Business. “At Samsung, we are not just imagining the future of AI, we are building it into everyday life.”

Samsung’s AI Home is more than just smart devices — it first understands you, then adjusts to your needs to take care of what matters most. It follows the concept of Ambient AI, which allows devices to monitor the home environment. This includes temperature, lighting, sound, movement, and more. The goal is to make everyday living more convenient, efficient, healthy, and safe.

At the event, Samsung also launched a bunch of new Bespoke AI appliances that bring this vision to life. These include the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, Bespoke AI Washer, and Bespoke AI Dishwasher. The Jet Bot robot vacuum cleaner can now detect even transparent liquids, while the Washer enhances the laundry experience. Likewise, the Dishwasher optimizes cleaning cycles and accelerates the drying process.

Furthermore, the company also launched Vision AI Companion to personalize home entertainment to the next level. It lets you talk naturally with your smart TV while helping you find content easily. With these new AI experiences, Samsung now sets a new benchmark for smart living and home entertainment.
