Galaxy S25 Edge is actually… so thin
So far, we know a lot of details about the Galaxy S25 Edge, including its pricing. It’s not a mystery device like some others in the pipeline, which are slated to debut later. Samsung has, in fact, shown off the device publicly twice, once at January’s Unpacked event and again at MWC. The Galaxy S25 Edge is really thin, and you can see it in the pictures, too.
According to the rumor mill, the Galaxy S25 Edge is just 5.84mm thick. But numbers don’t always give us a clear picture, right? Think of it as being slimmer than a typical pen, but only a bit thicker than a few stacked credit cards. It’s sleek.
For a better comparison, it’s much thinner than the rest of the lineup, if you didn’t already know. The Galaxy S25 is 7.2mm thick, the Galaxy S25+ is 7.3mm, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2mm thick. That should give you a much clearer idea of how thin the Galaxy S25 Edge is in real life.
Will you notice the difference in everyday use? Yeah, you definitely will. There are areas where it might be hard to tell two phones apart, but thickness and weight are things you’ll notice easily. For that matter, it’s rumored to weigh around 163 grams (5.75 oz). Does that ring a bell for you?
