Here’s How Much the Galaxy S26 Series Could Cost in Europe

As rumors say, Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S26 series as early as next month. The company also dropped its first teaser recently, and now we’ve come across something even more interesting. Whether the Galaxy S26 lineup will see a price hike has been an open question, and it turns out we might finally have an answer.
Galaxy S26 series might avoid a price hike in Europe
According to Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will come with the same price tag as their predecessors in Europe. That means the base model will start at EUR 899, even though it now comes with 256GB of storage, which is a notable upgrade from last year’s 128GB. The Galaxy S26+ will cost EUR 1,169, the same as its predecessor.
As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Quandt says it will be EUR 100 cheaper than its predecessor for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants. However, the top-tier 1TB variant will cost the same as last year’s model. There’s one catch, though, which we explain later in the story.
There’s been an ongoing memory chip shortage, which is why reports have long suggested a price hike was inevitable. Apparently, Samsung is absorbing the higher memory costs in most cases. The company had also previously denied reports claiming its memory division was refusing to support Samsung MX with RAM supplies.
So… about the pre-order storage upgrades
The biggest downside is that there may be no free storage upgrades. In most cases, Samsung offers a free storage bump during the preorder phase, meaning you could buy the 256GB model and get 512GB. But according to Quandt, Samsung may skip that offer this year.
If that happens, you might want to consider signing up for our mystery box program. We’re offering a range of accessories at no extra cost, including shipping, with every Galaxy S26 purchase. We’ve also decided to give a free storage upgrade to 50 random buyers if the reports turn out to be true.
