Google continues to evolve its Find Hub service, making it more useful for users. While the company has mostly focused on the mobile app so far, it is now improving the web experience as well. The Mountain View giant has begun rolling out support for more devices, including tags and headphones, on the Find Hub website.

Google brings more device support to the Find Hub website

If you are unfamiliar, Find Hub (formerly Find My Device) helps you locate lost devices such as smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other accessories. You can view connected devices on a map, play a sound to find nearby items, and even remotely erase a device.

However, on the web platform, some devices were previously missing, limiting its benefit compared to the mobile app. You could only track phones, tablets, smartwatches, and some audio devices. Thankfully, that is finally changing.

According to 9to5Google, the Find Hub website now supports devices like smart tags and headphones. As a result, you can track more of your belongings directly from a browser. This comes in handy when you do not have access to your phone or the app.

Now, when you visit the Find Hub portal (google.com/android/find), you will see more devices in the Devices tab. You can also rename devices and remove items from your account directly on the web. There is a People tab where you can see friends and family when they share their location with you.

If you do not see tags and headphones yet, do not worry. Google usually pushes updates gradually, so it may take some time to land in your account. On a related note, the Find Hub mobile app recently became easier to use. The company has removed the requirement for biometric or PIN verification when you open the app. This lets you find a device more quickly when you are in a hurry.
