Samsung is now widely rolling out a new Good Lock module called Game Booster+ for Galaxy phones. It first showed up on Samsung’s community forums in December 2024, and now it’s officially available. For starters, Game Booster+ is meant to make gaming better by giving you more control over how individual games run on your device.
Game Booster+ module now available officially in the US
If you’ve already updated to the stable One UI 7 release, you should see Game Booster+ listed in the Good Lock app. You can also jump straight to the app from Galaxy Store following this link. We sideloaded it last month, which gave us a chance to dig into some of its best features ahead of a wider release.
One of the standout additions is controller button remapping. You can pair a physical controller — like an Xbox or PlayStation controller — and fully customize the button layout. It supports up to four different profiles, making it easy to switch between setups depending on the game you’re playing.
Another big feature is per-game GPU tuning. That means you can optimize each game individually by adjusting resolution, boosting frame rates, and tweaking advanced settings like PreTransform—which helps reduce GPU load during screen rotation in Vulkan-based games. There’s also an AI texture enhancer that can either sharpen in-game visuals or scale them down to improve performance, depending on what you prefer.
The module has started rolling out in the US, but some features might still be limited by region. If you’re on One UI 7, it’s available to download now. It’s definitely worth a look if you care about gaming.
