Good Lock’s Edge Lighting+ Module Now Supports Galaxy to Share

Samsung’s Good Lock suite is popular among Galaxy users who like to adjust how their phones look and behave. One of the modules in the suite, Edge Lighting+, adds visual effects around the display when notifications arrive. You can pick from several styles and create a look that suits their workflow. Samsung has now released an update for Edge Lighting+ that focuses on stability and adds support for another Good Lock tool.

You can now share your Edge Lightning+ settings across devices using Galaxy to Share

The new version, Edge Lighting+ 8.0.00.1, now works with Galaxy to Share, also known as GTS. Galaxy to Share allows users to transfer Good Lock settings between Galaxy devices. With this update, any custom notification effects created in Edge Lighting+ can be shared as well.

This is useful for anyone who switches phones often or uses more than one Galaxy device and wants the same setup on all of them. Samsung also notes that the update includes a bug fix, although it has not explained what specific issue was resolved.

Tap on this link to directly install the update. Alternatively, you can open the Galaxy Store, go to Menu, then Updates, and tap the Update all button in the top right corner. If the new version does not appear, it may simply not have reached your device yet. Samsung releases Good Lock updates in stages, so some users receive them earlier than others.
