Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will debut at the second Galaxy Unpacked event, which typically happens in the summer. While the launch is still a few months away, that hasn’t stopped the leaks. Android Headlines and OnLeaks have teamed up to share the first set of CAD renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
This could be your first look at the Galaxy Z Fold 7!
The first thing you’ll notice about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is just how sleek it looks. It will reportedly be just 4.5mm thick when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded. That makes it about 1.1mm thinner than the current Z Fold 6. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature an 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer display, making it the largest inner screen on any foldable phone. For comparison, the Oppo Find N5 has an 8.12-inch screen. The Z Fold 7’s dimensions will be around 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm. Hence, the front display will be wider than last year’s model. Now, feast your eyes with leaked Galaxy Z Fold 7 CAD renders.

Samsung might also have improved crease visibility with the Z Fold 7. We can’t be sure just yet based on CAD renders. But we could see some noticeable improvements, especially as the competition heats up. Under the hood, it could pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. However, there are rumors it could be a slightly trimmed version with one less CPU core compared to the standard model. This would mean the Z Fold 7 could feature a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite, which would generate less heat and help with thermals.

That being said, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could launch alongside two other foldables, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip FE. The Flip FE is expected to be the most affordable foldable in the market. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will sit at the top of the line.
