Galaxy Z Fold 7 October 2025 Security Update Expands Globally

Galaxy Z Fold 7 receives October 2025 security update in India and Europe
As revealed by updates tracker Tarun Vats, Samsung has now begun rolling out the October 2025 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India and Europe. The update comes with build version F966BXXS5AYJ3 and has a size of 549.81MB. As with any security update, there aren’t new features, but updating is a must. It improves system stability, enhances performance, and fixes minor bugs.

Naturally, if you’re in any of these regions and own a Galaxy Z Fold 7, it’s worth checking whether you’ve received the latest security update. To do so, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now. The process may take a while, but after your device restarts, it will be running the latest security update.
October 2025 security patch fixes 34 vulnerabilities in total
Samsung’s October 2025 security update protects Galaxy devices from new threats. It fixes 14 high-risk Android issues and 20 Samsung-only vulnerabilities affecting phones, tablets, and watches. Key fixes include flaws in Samsung DeX, fingerprint security, and Galaxy Watch data storage. Other patches improve safety in Contacts, KnoxGuard, and Knox Enterprise.
So far, Samsung has rolled out the update to several Galaxy devices, most recently the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25. Naturally, not all regions receive updates at the same time. However, the fact that it has reached Europe and India indicates that the update will likely be coming to other regions soon.
