Galaxy Z Fold 7 Becomes the Fastest-Selling Foldable in Western Europe

The market for foldables hasn’t been as big as it is for regular slab phones. That’s generally how people see it. But things seem to be changing with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has shot up the ranks in multiple regions. Simply put, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is already a big hit. It’s much bigger than anyone expected.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 sales reach 250,000 in Western Europe in the first month
A report from Counterpoint Research highlights that Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 has become the fastest-selling foldable in Western Europe. According to the market research firm (via Android Authority), Samsung sold over 250,000 units in just over four weeks since its launch. That’s an impressive start for any device, but especially for a foldable that’s historically been seen as niche compared to regular slab phones.

The 250,000 figure is more than double the Galaxy Z Fold 6. And about 70 percent higher than the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the previous best-seller. It also surpasses sales of any book-style or clamshell foldable from other manufacturers in the region so far. The numbers speak for themselves. Samsung is dominating the foldable market, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is leading the charge.
There’s no denying the impact of these figures. Samsung is clearly benefiting from the popularity of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and early sales suggest the device is connecting with more buyers than ever before.
“After years of iterative upgrades, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is a major step forward, and Samsung has finally closed the gap on the competition. It is Samsung’s thinnest and lightest book-type foldable yet, and with its improved camera module and advanced Galaxy AI features, the brand seems to have finally brought foldable smartphones to the mass market,” says Jan Stryjak from Counterpoint.
