Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 get One UI 8.5 Beta in US and More Markets

Samsung is wasting no time bringing One UI 8.5 Beta to more Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 users. After kicking off in South Korea, the beta program has now expanded to the US and India. Users in Europe may receive the update anytime now, if they haven’t already.
One UI 8.5 Beta for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 reaches more users
Over the past few weeks, Samsung has released One UI 8.5 Beta updates for a bunch of Galaxy devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are the latest to get beta access. As usual, the beta program initially launched in Korea, but the company has quickly expanded it to additional markets. With the US and India releases done, the update should soon hit the UK, Germany, and Poland.
The first One UI 8.5 beta update for these foldables carries firmware version ZZCD. It arrives with a hefty download size of over 4.5GB and bundles the March 2026 security patch. Interested Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 users in supported markets can enroll in the beta program from the Samsung Members app. Once successfully registered, the update will be delivered over the air.
One UI 8.5 focuses on refinement rather than drastic changes. The update introduces a more polished interface, with subtle visual improvements that enhance consistency across the system. Personalization remains a key theme, with new options to customize the Quick Panel and better integrate user preferences into the UI experience.
Samsung is widely expected to roll out the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series in the first half of April. It should gradually expand the update to more models later in the month. Devices with beta access should be the first in line, followed by other models. The Korean firm may complete the rollout by June or July. It could introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 with One UI 9 in late July or early August.
