Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Shows Up with Exynos 2400 Days Before Launch

Samsung is getting ready to introduce an “affordable” foldable this year. The long-rumored Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will serve as an entry-level model, making the foldable tech more accessible. Based on leaks, it might be a rebadged Flip 6 with a couple of key changes. One of those is the processor, with Samsung swapping the Snapdragon chip for its in-house Exynos silicon. We now have confirmation about the actual chip powering the Fan Edition foldable.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE’s Exynos chip confirmed
Rumors have long suggested that Samsung may ship the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE with the Exynos 2400, its previous-gen flagship chipset. Debuted with the Galaxy S24 series last year, this 4nm chip is fairly capable and worthy of being inside the upcoming foldable. A recent Geekbench entry confirms Samsung’s decision and reveals the Exynos 2400’s performance levels in the Flip 7 FE.
The device (model number SM-F761B, which is the global version) scored 1,940 in single-core CPU tests and 6,136 in multi-core tests on Geekbench v6.4. The GPU score came in at 12,890. These numbers put it right in line with expectations for this 10-core chip, which operates at a peak CPU frequency of 3.21GHz. The AMD-powered Xclipse 940 GPU has six compute units and runs at 1,095MHz.
The listing also confirms 8GB of RAM, which should be adequate for day-to-day use and multitasking. Moreover, there’s a rumor that the 256GB storage option may be available with 12GB of RAM, at least in some regions. Note that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will ship with the Exynos 2400 globally. Samsung doesn’t have a Snapdragon variant planned for any market. The regular Flip 7 is also expected to run the Exynos 2500 worldwide.
With solid performance and a more budget-friendly price tag, the Flip 7 FE could be a strong entry point for foldable first-timers. If you want something more powerful, the regular Flip 7’s Exynos 2500 brings all-around improvements over its predecessor. Both foldables, as well as the Fold 7, will go official on July 9.
