Galaxy Z Flip 5 One Step Closer to One UI 8 Beta Update!

You’d probably guess which phones are getting the One UI 8 update, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 are on the list. Both were released in 2023, and Samsung has officially confirmed they will get beta access. While that doesn’t mean an immediate rollout, the fact that all the boxes are being ticked suggests the update could arrive soon.

Samsung progressing with One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy Z Flip 5!

Right on cue, Samsung has updated the One UI 8 beta build on its servers for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. As spotted by updates tracker Akhilesh Kumar, the new One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 now ends with ZYHC. The build version is F731NKSU5ZYHC. While the digits themselves don’t reveal much, we can confirm that this version was developed in August.

An official confirmation from Samsung stated that the One UI 8 beta will be rolled out to more phones, including:

• Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra
• Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5
• Galaxy A36, Galaxy A35
• Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54

All of these devices are expected to receive the One UI 8 beta in September. The exact date is still under wraps. But if the odds are in our favor, it should arrive around the start of the second week. That will put it in line with previous beta launches.
