In October 2025, Samsung launched its Galaxy XR headset, bringing immersive mixed-reality experiences. Now, if you want to enjoy 3D movies on your headset and get the feel of a private theater in your own home, there’s some good news. Google recently released a bunch of 3D movies on its TV platform, allowing users to watch films in immersive virtual reality.

Google TV’s 3D movie library has grown rapidly in recent weeks

According to SamMobile, the number of 3D movies that you can watch on the Galaxy XR has increased lately. Just a few days ago, there were only 18 titles available, but the number has now increased to over 50 films. Some of the popular movies include G.I. Joe: Retaliation, How to Train Your Dragon, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Jumanji: The Next Level, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Of course, you will need to buy or rent these movies to watch them on the Galaxy XR headset.

Based on Android XR, Galaxy XR lets you watch 3D movies in an immersive experience. It features a Micro-OLED display with a resolution of 3,552 x 3,840 pixels. On top of that, it offers a total of 27 million pixels for crisp visuals. The headset also covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant colors. It supports 60Hz, 72Hz, and 90Hz refresh rates for smooth motion. With a field of view of 109 degrees horizontal and 100 degrees vertical, you get a more realistic feel.

Meanwhile, if you want to enjoy immersive experiences apart from movies, you can explore YouTube’s library of 180 and 360-degree VR content. The Galaxy XR is currently available in the US for $1,799 via Samsung’s official store. As part of Cyber Week Deal, the company is now offering several perks with the headset, including 1 year of Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass, and more.
