Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring Can Now Control Your Samsung AC for Perfect Sleep

If you own a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, you can now use them to control your Samsung AC while you sleep. Samsung’s Good Sleep mode automatically adjusts your room’s temperature, throughout the night based on your sleep cycle. Simply put, it helps you stay asleep more comfortably by creating the ideal conditions for each of rest.
Your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring can adjust Samsung AC for Good Sleep
Most people don’t realize that your body needs different temperatures at different points during sleep. When you first fall asleep, a cooler room helps you drift off. But during deep sleep, your body temperature naturally drops, meaning the room should be slightly warmer to keep you comfortable. To understand this, Samsung collaborated with researchers at Kyunghee University to study sleep science.
What happens is basically, once your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring detects you’re asleep, it signals your AC to lower the temperature. After about 90 minutes, when you enter deeper sleep, the system raises the temperature slightly. This cycle repeats all night, matching your body’s natural rhythms. You can also use the Good Sleep mode without Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, but it won’t adjust as precisely.
Good Sleep mode works with several Samsung air conditioners models, including the AR-B, AR-C, AR-D and AR-F series. However, you’ll need a Galaxy Watch 4 or newer or the Galaxy Ring for the automatic adjustments. Samsung says that it first tested the technology in 2018 but only made it widely available in 2023 as sleep tracking became more popular.
My personal take on this would be that it’s kind of smart temperature control, which makes a lot of sense. The summer heatwaves are making it challenging to sleep comfortably in most regions of the world. As a result, we wake up either too hold or too cold. Now that’s exactly what it can solve by adapting the AC to your needs.
