The return of the “Classic” moniker in the Watch 8 lineup has been rumored for a while. And now there’s even more confirmation that it’s happening. Speaking of which, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was recently spotted in a Bluetooth SIG listing, revealing some key details.

As spotted by the folks over at Xpertpick, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic definitely looks set to launch. As usual, there are no hardware details yet, but we do get the model number, which was previously tipped. The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic bearing the SM-L505U model number. The “U” suffix refers to the US variant, a naming convention Samsung often uses for its products. This does suggest that the launch is imminent.
Other than that, the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup remains a mystery, with only a few known details, such as the Galaxy Watch 8’s battery (435mAh). We do know there will be both a standard and a Classic model, but little else is confirmed. The return of the Classic model could mean the return of the rotating bezel. Samsung typically includes this with its Classic models, so it’s a solid guess.
