Pro Keyboard for Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is Now Available in Canada!

Last week, Samsung finally launched its long-awaited Pro Keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. After its debut in Korea, the new keyboard has now arrived in another market: Canada. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Samsung starts selling globally.
Galaxy Tab S11’s Pro Keyboard arrives in another market
The Canadian listing shows a price of $499 CAD, which converts to about $364 USD. This is close to Korea’s price tag of 495,000 won (~$338 USD). We can safely assume the US price will land around $350, just like previous Book Cover Keyboard options.
The new keyboard is a major step up from previous iterations. For one, it now features an all-metal design, presumably aluminum. Moreover, instead of a kickstand, it adopts a hinge-based design. The trackpad is also 14.6% bigger (the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features a 14.6-inch display). Samsung claims a “laptop-like experience” with the Pro keyboard.
While the trackpad’s increase in size is a welcome change, it’s unclear if the trackpad itself has seen any real improvements. We’d love to see the same haptic trackpad from the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra make its way to the Pro Keyboard.
It may seem a bit confusing to see how much of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra remains exposed, but Samsung could be managing the combined weight of the Pro Keyboard and the tablet itself. An all-metal keyboard paired with the tablet would create quite a hefty combo.
What we’d like to see is a lightweight cover that still protects the rest of the tablet. Perhaps our friends over at Thinborne could cook up a clever solution.
Samsung launched the Pro Keyboard in Korea shortly after Unpacked, and it quickly followed in Canada. We can reasonably assume the United States will be next, likely at a $350 price point. Expect a detailed review of the Pro Keyboard as soon as we get our hands on it.
