Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout has hit the budget segment, with the Galaxy A06, Galaxy F06, and Galaxy M06 recently picking up the update. One UI 8 is also rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, a mid-range tablet launched earlier this year. The update has already been released for dozens of other Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

One UI 8 hits Samsung’s Galaxy A06, Tab S10 Lite, and more devices

The Galaxy A06, M06, and F06 are receiving One UI 8 in India with the firmware build version BYI8, while the rollout for the Tab S10 Lite has begun in South Korea. The update should soon expand to other regions. Users can check for the Android 16-based firmware manually by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is installed, the device will reboot to complete the process.

One UI 8 is a major OS release for Galaxy devices. It brings a refreshed interface and a suite of usability improvements across Samsung’s ecosystem. Key highlights include a redesigned Samsung Internet, Weather, and Quick Share experience for improved navigation and cleaner visuals. Samsung has also enhanced Secure Folder protections with stronger sandboxing for sensitive apps and data.

Additionally, One UI 8 improves Samsung DeX for smoother multitasking and better display scaling. New Modes and Routines actions let users automate more everyday tasks and personalize workflows, while many other system apps receive UI enhancements. Alongside these features, the update delivers stability improvements, security fixes, and optimizations aimed at better performance and battery management.

With this release, Samsung continues its steady expansion of the One UI 8 rollout across its Galaxy lineup, bringing the latest Android experience to more devices sooner than ever. It will follow up with One UI 8.5 in early 2026. The new version will debut with the Galaxy S26 series and bring another round of enhancements.
