The company is also working on refreshing its tablet lineup. Speaking of which, Samsung is working on refreshing the Galaxy Tab Active and Tab S10 line. Thanks to a new leak, we now have some details about the chipsets coming with Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, Tab S10 FE, and Tab S10 FE+.
According to Android Authority, Samsung is confirmed to be working on at least three tablets lined up for launch. The codes reveal information about the Galaxy tablets’ chipsets and variant options, including Wi-Fi and 5G models.
Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro could pack a Snapdragon chipset
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro could pack the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (SM7635) chipset. It’s same as the upcoming Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. According to the publication, the code strings reveal two models: the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro 5G and the Tab Active 5 Pro (Wi-Fi). Now, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 might not be the cream of the crop when it comes to SoCs. But considering the Galaxy Tab Active lineup is a niche, it could still be one of the best choices in price range. After all, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is designed to be a rugged tablet. So, performance might take a back seat to durability.
Galaxy Tab S10 FE, Tab S10 FE+ could pack Exynos chipset
Next in line are the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, both powered by the Exynos 1580 (S5E8855) chipset. These models will be available in both Wi-Fi and 5G variants. According to code strings spotted by the publications, this means we can expect four options. These include the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ 5G, Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ (Wi-Fi), Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G, and Galaxy Tab S10 FE (Wi-Fi).
