Galaxy S26 Series Wallpapers Hint at Fresh Colors

As the launch of the Galaxy S26 series draws closer, leaks are coming out left, right, and centre. Today, we get a look at the stock wallpapers for the 2026 flagship lineup. This leak also provides insight into color options for the devices.

Multiple prominent leakers have managed to get hold of these new wallpapers, first by wr3cckl3ss, then by DaManMikey and Devcore (The same guy who first leaked One UI 8.5). This was found in a recent Galaxy S26 Ultra firmware leak, pulled from test servers. The wallpapers themselves feature a prominent S shape that curves to faintly make out a 6.

What colors could the new flagships come with?

Now that we have the wallpapers in hand, we can take a good guess at what colors the entire lineup will come with. This is purely speculative, but an insight into what Samsung has planned for its next generation of devices. 

The Galaxy S Ultra typically sports duller colors, greys and blacks, while the Base and Plus models use brighter, more vibrant colors. But Samsung could throw a curveball and give the Galaxy S26 Ultra a “hero” color, like the Blue Shadow shade on the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, or Orange on the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max. We’re also seeing Mint, Coral, Violet, White/Silver, Grey, and Black colors in these wallpapers. So here’s our guess at what colors the S26 series will use:

Galaxy S26 and S26+ – Mint, Coral, Grey

Galaxy S26 Ultra – White/Silver, Black, Violet

Violet is the perfect hero color for these new devices; it’s bold and visually striking, differentiating Samsung from rivals. The series would also have more tame colors for those who don’t desire a brightly colored phone. The other vibrant shades could be for the base and plus models. We have seen coral and mint being featured on previous Galaxy devices.
