Galaxy S26 Series Battery Capacity and Charging Speed Tipped

Samsung will likely return on February 25 with a familiar trio. It’s expected to launch the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Plenty of information has already leaked about the upcoming models, and a tipster has now confirmed what the charging speeds and battery capacities of the Galaxy S26 series might be.

Galaxy S26 and S26+ may retain current charging speeds, while the Ultra gets the real upgrade

It looks like the base model won’t impress much, if you were hoping for a decent upgrade. Trusted leaker Ahmed Qwaider says the Galaxy S26 will get a 300mAh bump over its predecessor, bringing the total to a 4,300mAh battery, but it will stick with the same 25W charging speed. What a bummer!

Things are unchanged, at least according to the leak, for the Galaxy S26+. It will reportedly pack a 4,900mAh battery and support 45W charging. This was also backed up by a TUV listing that spilled the beans on both battery size and charging speed. But the real upgrade is expected to land on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, for obvious reasons.

Qwaider says the Galaxy S26 Ultra will keep the same 5,000mAh battery but will support 60W charging. A previous report dug into unreleased firmware and found references to Super Fast Charging 3.0, which further supports this claim. If it happens, it’ll be a much-needed boost. Though, we wish Samsung would go a bit further with battery capacity.

That said, earlier today, the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s SIM trays also allegedly leaked, revealing the possible color options. According to the leak, the phone will come in black, white, blue, and purple or violet. The purple or violet version could also be the hero color, according to Qwaider.
