Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is now official. The new flagships bring several key upgrades, including more RAM and storage, depending on where you live. Here’s a breakdown of the RAM and storage configurations for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.
What are your RAM and storage options for the Galaxy S25 lineup?
Samsung offers 12GB of RAM as standard on the Galaxy S25 and S25+, eliminating the base model’s 8GB option. We are talking about LPDDR5X RAM chips, the same as the S24 line. However, instead of a 13nm process, the new flagships allegedly feature 12nm chips for enhanced power efficiency and RAM performance.
Unfortunately, Samsung still ships the base Galaxy S25 with 128GB of storage, at least in the US and Europe. This means it will use a UFS 3.1 storage chip instead of UFS 4.0. Buyers in Asia and some other markets get 256GB and 512GB storage options, both with UFS 4.0 chips. The Galaxy S25+ comes in 256GB and 512GB storage variants.
Coming to the Galaxy S25 Ultra; it is available in two RAM choices. The 256GB and 512GB models give you 12GB of RAM globally, while the 1TB unit features 16GB of RAM in some regions — only two countries, to be precise. The device uses 12nm LPDDR5X RAM chips and UFS 4.0 storage. Here’s your full lineup:
