Update 01/17 (3:30 PM EST): We had initially embedded a video shared by Android Headlines on X, which has now been removed at Samsung’s request. The original story follows…
The Galaxy S25 series is almost here. Samsung will launch the new phones on January 22 at Galaxy Unpacked, which will take place in San Jose. While we’ll keep you posted on everything that’s coming, you can also tune in to watch the action live. Right on cue, the Galaxy S25 series promo video has already leaked — and honestly, it looks like a total banger. We can’t say how long the video will stay online, so you might want to check it out before Samsung swoops in and takes it down.
Galaxy S25 series promo video has leaked before the official debut
You can watch the Galaxy S25 series leaked promo video right in the middle of this story, courtesy of Android Headlines. But before you hit play, here’s a quick rundown of what’s in it. The promo kicks off with a look at the One UI 7.0 lock screen, featuring the much-anticipated Now Brief — recently teased in marketing posters — and a splash of health-focused features.
It also highlights the camera’s nightography capabilities. Samsung claims you can “use Night Video to capture your evening out in vivid detail.” The Google Gemini assistant takes center stage, playing a key role in the Galaxy AI. And let’s not forget the upcoming Audio Eraser, a handy tool that removes unwanted sounds from video recordings.
Recent renders leaked online also revealed the four phones in the Galaxy S25 lineup. As far as we know, the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are set to launch on January 22. Samsung might even surprise us with the Galaxy S25 Slim during the event. But honestly, the chances are pretty slim… pun intended that it will launch during the same event. Rumor has it that the Slim model might make its debut in May instead.
With that said, these are probably your last few days to pre-reserve the Galaxy S25 series. Pre-reservations are closing soon, so don’t miss out on snagging a free premium wallpaper pack from us. Plus, Samsung is throwing in a $50 credit and even a chance to win $5,000.
