Galaxy S25 May Get Final One UI 8 Beta Update Ahead of Stable Release

The Galaxy S25 series has already received several One UI 8 beta updates, but testing appears to be ongoing. A new tip suggests that Samsung will roll out One UI 8 beta 5 soon for the Galaxy S25 series, as it has reportedly been spotted on a server.
New One UI 8 beta build spotted for Galaxy S25 on internal server
Updates tracker Tarun Vats spotted a new One UI 8 beta build on a server, which suggests a fifth round of beta updates for the Galaxy S25 series. In all fairness, that should ideally be the last round of beta updates for the flagship series to squash any last-minute bugs before the stable rollout. The build version in question is S938BXXU5ZYH5.

Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will receive the One UI 8 update in September. There’s no exact date, however. It could either be mid-month or even during the last week. So if a new beta update pops up, it should arrive this month. We’ll obviously keep you in the loop as we spot any new updates or related news.
Apart from that, Samsung will finally give the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 a taste of the One UI 8 beta this week. Per announcement, Samsung said the beta update for last-generation flagships should arrive in the August 11 week, which we’re currently witnessing. So keep an eye out, especially if you have one of these devices—the update could come anytime.
If history is any indication, the update should first come to South Korea. After which, it will release in more regions. But Samsung is Samsung. If it’s a good day, the company can even do a simultaneous global rollout. Stay tuned for more details.
