Samsung’s Fan Edition phones have always walked the line between flagship performance and affordability, and the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE looks set to continue that tradition. Leaks have already revealed nearly everything about the device, from its design to its core hardware. Fresh details from a reliable leaker add more clarity to what we can expect.

Galaxy S25 FE nears launch as fresh details emerge

At the front, the Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung is reportedly pushing brightness to 1,900 nits, making it an ideal screen for outdoor use. Both the front and back panels are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, lending the phone a level of durability usually reserved for premium Galaxy models.

Under the hood, Samsung will reportedly equip the device with the Exynos 2400 processor. Yes, the upcoming FE gets last year’s chip rather than this year’s Exynos 2500. The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options stretching from 128GB all the way up to 512GB. Performance should also benefit from a 13% improvement in cooling efficiency, which should help during gaming or heavy multitasking.

Cameras have been one of the areas where Samsung cuts corners to keep FE phones affordable, and the S25 FE appears to be no exception. While the 50MP main sensor should deliver great pictures, the 8MP 3x zoom camera isn’t at the same level as the 10MP unit found on other S25 models. This phone also has a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP selfie shooter.

Battery life looks promising with a 4,900mAh unit supporting 45W wired charging, ensuring quick top-ups. As expected, the phone will run Android 16-based One UI 8 and bring along Samsung’s full suite of AI-powered features. Extras like IP68 dust and water resistance and Wi-Fi 6E round off the package, putting the FE much closer to the Galaxy S25 series in terms of everyday usability.

Samsung is reportedly preparing a variety of color options, including Navy, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Black, and White, which should appeal to users who prefer either subtle tones or bolder finishes. Rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 FE will go official in the coming weeks, but a launch date is still missing. We will keep you posted.
