Galaxy S25 Edge Sales Begin in Some Regions, US Release Set for May 30

Samsung has opened general sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge in its home country, South Korea. Officially launched on May 12 (May 13 in Korean local time), the device is set for a US release on May 30. It will also go on sale in many other markets at the end of this month.

Samsung starts Galaxy S25 Edge’s general sales after a strong pre-order period

Immediately after its launch, Samsung opened pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Edge in most global markets. In Korea, the pre-order period ran until May 22 and saw strong demand. On the final day, people queued up at Samsung’s flagship stores to get their hands on the shiny new smartphone, which happens to be the slimmest Galaxy S model to date.

Measuring just 5.8mm thick and weighing 163 grams, the Galaxy S25 Edge is an incredibly sleek and lightweight smartphone. Despite its ultra-thin profile, it doesn’t compromise on performance or durability. The phone is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with 12GB of RAM. You also get a flagship display and a 200MP main camera.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S25 Edge is already proving popular with younger consumers. Over half of the purchases on Samsung.com during the pre-order period came from customers in their 20s and 30s. Pricing and variants

The Galaxy S25 Edge is available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Jetblack. The silver variant is the most popular in Korea. The phone comes in two storage options:

• 512GB – 1.639 million KRW ($1,219 in the US)
