Galaxy S24, Flip 6 and Fold 6 Join One UI 8 Beta Next Week

While many were expecting Samsung to launch the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series this month, the company has taken a different route. Instead of wrapping up the beta program, the Korean firm is expanding it. The Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy S24 series are the next devices to receive beta updates, with the rollout beginning next week, possibly on August 11.
One UI 8 beta coming to more Galaxy devices on August 11
Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 will receive One UI 8 beta next week. Since the company typically begins the rollout on a Monday, we expect the update to arrive on August 11. These devices will be part of the beta program in South Korea, the UK, the US, and India. Samsung seems to have dropped Germany and Poland from the list of supported markets, at least for next week’s expansion.
If you own any of these devices, you’ll be able to sign up for the beta through the Samsung Members app. Just log in with the Samsung account tied to your phone, look for the One UI 8 Beta banner, and follow the instructions to enroll. The company also plans to gradually expand the beta program to more devices, including a few mid-range smartphones. You can see the full list of eligible devices here.
It’s worth noting that Samsung has already rolled out four One UI 8 beta builds for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Moreover, it launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE with the new Android 16-based update last month. The company is now gearing up to bring One UI 8 to more devices. Following this beta expansion, Samsung will begin the stable rollout in September, with the Galaxy S25 series likely leading the charge. Stay tuned for more updates.
