Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy S23 FE Can Now Enjoy One UI 8 Update in India

Samsung is on a roll today! As the week kicks off, it’s only natural to expect a few software updates, and Samsung hasn’t disappointed. So far, the company has rolled out One UI 8 to several devices. Most recently, the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy S23 FE have also started receiving the One UI 8 update in India.

Get ready to enjoy One UI 8 update on your Galaxy S22 series or Galaxy S23 FE!

Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Galaxy S23 FE in India. All of these updates include the September 2025 security patch and are available to download starting today. The build numbers are S90*EXXUCGYIF for the Galaxy S22 series and S711BXXUAFYI6 for the Galaxy S23 FE. Thanks, Akhilesh Kumar and Mohammed Khatri.

If you have any of these devices and are in India, you can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now. After a few minutes, your device will restart and boot up running One UI 8.

Notably, with One UI 8, the Galaxy S22 series completes its four-year update cycle. It will receive one more “point” update, which will be One UI 8.5 whenever it launches.
