Galaxy S22, Galaxy A25 November 2025 Security Update Comes to India

Samsung has been steadily rolling out the November 2025 security update to a wide range of devices. In the past few days, several flagship and mid-range models have received the latest patch. Most recently, the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy A25 have begun receiving the November 2025 security update in India.

Samsung is now rolling out the November 2025 security update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India. The build version is S90*EXXSCGYK2. At the same time, the Galaxy A25 is receiving the November 2025 security update in India with build version A256EXXS9DYK2.

The November 2025 security update improves device protection by fixing 2 critical and 23 high-severity Android issues, along with 11 Exynos semiconductor vulnerabilities. It also includes 9 Samsung-exclusive SVEs for phones, tablets, and wearables. If you own any of these devices and live in India, you can update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

As you already know, Samsung is also working on the One UI 8.5 update, which will be the next major release. Earlier reports suggested that the beta version would arrive sometime around the last week of November. However, there have been no signs of it so far, and another tipster confirmed that those plans have been scrapped. In the bigger picture, both of these devices are eligible for the One UI 8.5 update.
