Galaxy M55s, Galaxy F55 Grab One UI 8 Update

Samsung has officially started rolling out the One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy M55s and Galaxy F55. Earlier today, the Galaxy M55 received the update. Now its siblings have also joined the One UI 8 rollout list. This marks another step forward in Samsung’s ongoing Android 16-based update expansion.

The Galaxy M55s has started receiving the One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, in India. The update carries the October 2025 Security Patch and has an update size of around 2.56GB. It has a build number of M558BXXU2CYJ4.

The Galaxy F55 has also started receiving One UI 8 in India at a similar time. It carries the October 2025 security update and has an update size of around 2.5GB. It comes with a build info of E556BXXU4CYJ4. Similar to its sibling, the update improves system stability and enhances animations. It also gives the device a fresh and modern UI experience.

With today’s rollout, the Galaxy M55, Galaxy M55s, Galaxy F55, and Tab S8 Series have all received the latest One UI 8 software. Samsung is now focusing on completing the rollout for the remaining A, M and F Series models. This will occur in the coming weeks.
Android 16 marks the second major OS update for the Galaxy M55s and Galaxy F55. Launched with Android 14 out the box, the devices are promised to get updates up to Android 18.
