The Galaxy Quantum 3, popularly known as the Galaxy M53, has recently received the January 2026 security patch in Korea. The update carries the build version M536SKSSCGYL1. Like other monthly patches, this update does not introduce new features. It mainly focuses on improving system security and stability. The January 2026 security patch fixes 55 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and other companies.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A06 4G has also started getting the January 2026 security patch update. The release carries the build version A065FXXS9CZA1. The model has received the update in regions such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and a few other markets. Samsung should expand the rollout to more regions in the coming days.

Apart from the Galaxy M53 and Galaxy A06 4G, a few other Galaxy devices have already received the January 2026 security patch. Some of them are the Galaxy A34, Galaxy A55, Galaxy Z TriFold, Galaxy S25 series, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Meanwhile, One UI 8.5 testing continues at full pace. All the devices mentioned above have appeared with One UI 8.5 test builds on Samsung’s servers. The company has already started internal testing for most eligible Galaxy devices, and only a handful of models are yet to surface.

If you own any of the devices mentioned above, you can manually check for the January 2026 security update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download completes, tap Install now. Make sure your device has enough battery and is not overheating before starting the installing the package.
