The Galaxy F70e has already launched, and now Samsung is preparing to introduce its M series counterpart, likely called the Galaxy M17e. The device recently appeared on the Geekbench database, giving us a look at expected performance. As we inch closer, Samsung has also set up official support pages for the Galaxy M17e.

Galaxy M17e listed on Geekbench while support pages go live

The Galaxy M17e may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. According to the Geekbench listing, it scored 726 in single-core and 1992 in multi-core tests. The benchmark reveals the build version M076BXXU1AZA1 and model number SM-M076B. The tested unit features 6GB of RAM. Its siblings devices, the Galaxy F70e and Galaxy A07 5G, show similar performance figures.

Samsung used the same Dimensity 6300 chipset in the Galaxy M06 5G last year, so performance improvements are not expected. The GPU score stands at 1409, which is also in line with the Galaxy F70e and Galaxy A07 5G. Other brands are offering more powerful chipsets at this price point, which puts Samsung at a disadvantage in terms of performance.

Samsung has now made support pages live for the Galaxy M17e in India and Bangladesh. This usually indicates that the launch is near. The release should take place by the end of this month or early next month.

A Google Play Console listing also confirms the model number SM-M076B, supporting the naming strategy similar to the Galaxy F70e.

In terms of expected specifications, the Galaxy M17e may feature an 800 nits display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch design. It could come with an IP54 rating. The camera setup is expected to include a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. We may also see a big 6,000mAh battery under the hood.

On the software side, the device should launch with One UI 8 based on Android 16 and could receive updates up to Android 22. The pricing is expected to stay under ₹15,000. We’ll let you know once Samsung officially launches the phone.
