Galaxy Fit 3 Update Goes Global Following Korea Debut

Turns out Samsung hasn’t forgotten the Galaxy Fit 3, for which the company is rolling out a new software update. The update is now expanding to more regions worldwide after first appearing in South Korea earlier this year.
Latest Galaxy Fit 3 update comes with bug fixes and performance improvements
According to SamMobile, the update carries firmware version R390XXU0AZA3, and weighs around 17MB. While the changelog looks fairly simple on paper, many users reported on Reddit that the update actually improves several areas of the fitness band’s performance.

In addition, there are stability and reliability improvements, and it brings the January 2026 security update. Samsung doesn’t mention any new features. However, according to early user feedback, the update seems to fix quite a few annoying issues.
Users notice real improvements after installing the update
Over on Reddit, Galaxy Fit 3 users notice that this new update improved sleep tracking accuracy. Other users report improvements in notification syncing between band and the smartphone. Notifications now arrive more consistently. Also, the band feels smoother overall during everyday use.
Even though the update doesn’t add new visible features, stability updates like this can still make a huge difference. Fitness trackers rely heavily on sensors and background processes. Therefore, small software tweaks often improve the user experience. If you own a Galaxy Fit 3 and haven’t received the update yet, it should show up soon through the Galaxy Wearable app > Band settings > Band software update > Download and install.
