Galaxy Devices That Received One UI 8 This Week (Nov 2-Nov 9)

After several weeks of continuous rollouts, it finally looks like the One UI 8 update journey is coming to an end. This week wasn’t as exciting as the previous ones, as Samsung mainly rolled out updates for a few budget devices and Galaxy tablets. Even though Samsung has been rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 software for many weeks now, a few devices still have not received it yet. These are mostly entry-level phones and tablets. Samsung rolled out One UI 8 update for these Galaxy devices this week

Samsung began rolling out One UI 8 update in mid-September. The rollout started with the flagship Galaxy S25 series. Since then, the company has covered almost all eligible Galaxy models. However, this week’s rollout was rather quiet compared to previous weeks. Interestingly, Samsung appears to have pulled the One UI 8 build for the Galaxy A34 from OTA servers in Korea earlier this week. The reason behind this pause is still unknown. It’s unclear when the rollout for that model will resume.

• Galaxy Tab Active 5 (India, Europe, Indonesia)

The One UI 8 rollout should be completed in the next few weeks. Only a few models remain. Samsung now seems to be shifting its focus toward One UI 8.5. This is expected to launch fully alongside the Galaxy S26 series in February 2026; a beta program could be on the cards. One UI 8.5 will bring an even bigger design overhaul, and a bunch of new features. This includes a more customizable Quick Panel, refined animations, new lock screen personalization features, and more.
