Which Galaxy Devices Are Eligible for Android 16-Based One UI 8?

Samsung recently kicked off a wider rollout of One UI 8, its Android 16-based update for Galaxy devices. Debuted with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE, the new version has already reached a handful of older models, with more to follow in the coming days. Chances are, you’re wondering which Galaxy smartphones and tablets are in line for One UI 8. While the company hasn’t released an official list yet, we can make a calculated guess.
List of Galaxy devices that may be eligible for the Android 16-based One UI 8 update
Samsung provides at least two major Android updates for all Galaxy smartphones, including entry-level models. That means devices that launched with Android 14 are eligible for Android 16 and One UI 8. Some flagship phones, including tablets and foldables that launched with Android 11 or later, are set to receive four OS updates.
On top of this, the Galaxy S24 series and newer flagship models, like the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series, will get seven major updates. Moreover, mid-range devices from the Galaxy A, M, and F series are promised four updates, with some newer models receiving up to six years of support. That includes devices like the Galaxy A16, A26, A36, and A56. Based on all this, the devices listed below should be eligible for the Android 16-based One UI 8 update.
