Leaks continue to paint clear pictures of the Galaxy Buds 4 series ahead of its launch at Galaxy Unpacked. We recently came across a retailer that shared official-looking renders and key features of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. The same retailer now also sheds light on the vanilla Galaxy Buds 4. Let’s take a look at what Samsung will offer with its next-gen wireless earbuds.

Renders and key details of the Galaxy Buds 4 emerged

Samsung’s design ambitions for the Galaxy Buds 4 series reportedly focus on refining the stem-based look introduced in the Buds 3 series. However, the vanilla model misses out on silicone tips, offering an open-type design instead. The microphones will remain in the same position as on the Pro model, with cutouts at the top and bottom of each earbud.

The Galaxy Buds 4 case will feature a minimalist design, allowing the earbuds to sit horizontally inside. On top of that, a transparent lid will let you see the earbuds without opening the case. The case will include a USB-C port for charging and a dedicated button, likely to help locate a misplaced connected phone by making it ring.

According to the listing, Galaxy Buds 4 will offer “personalized sound that adapts to your needs and environment, providing a more precise and clear listening experience”. The earbuds will come with several key features, including head gesture controls for more intuitive interaction, support for two AI assistants, 3D data-based sound customization, sound amplification, and a real-time hearing interpreter. Meanwhile, an IP55 rating ensures water resistance for day-to-day use.

As for battery capacity, previous reports suggest the Galaxy Buds 4 could have a 42 mAh battery in each earbud, slightly smaller than the 48 mAh cells in the Galaxy Buds 3. The good thing is that improvements in hardware and software may allow Samsung keep battery life similar. The listing mentions up to 24 hours of use, the same as the company’s claim for the previous Buds 3 model. We’ll be sure to cover everything about the next-gen wireless earbud series on launch day (February 25).
