Samsung is at it again. This time, it’s giving the Galaxy A16 5G a fresh coat of paint and rebranding it as the Galaxy Buddy 4 Business in South Korea. It’s the same phone under a new name, a subtle rebrand targeting business users. Essentially, it’s the Galaxy A16 5G in disguise, now for customers on the LG U+ network.

LG U+, one of South Korea’s major carriers, has been teaming up with Samsung to offer exclusive devices to its customers. The Galaxy Buddy 4 Business is the latest addition to that lineup (via ChosunBiz).
Not much has changed. It’s essentially the Galaxy A16 5G in all but name. Still, let’s do a quick recap of the specs. The Galaxy Buddy 4 Business features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s smooth and easy on the eyes, especially when you’re scrolling through emails.
Under the hood, it packs in the Exynos 1380 processor, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That’s plenty for handling emails, documents, and a few apps without breaking a sweat. Need more space? There’s a microSD slot for that.
Camera-wise, the 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro won’t win any awards. But they’re good enough for a quick office selfie or a shot of your lunch. Up front, there’s a 13MP camera for video calls and selfies.
Speaking of the battery, there’s a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. This 5,000mAh should keep things going all day. Plus, the IP54 rating means it can handle a bit of rain or dust without a fuss. On the software side, you get Android 15 with One UI 7, plus Samsung’s promise of five years of updates. It’s available in Grey, Gold and Black and Blue.
