Samsung brought the Galaxy Book 6 series laptops to Vegas at CES 2026, where the company took the wraps off the Book 6, Book 6 Pro, and Book 6 Ultra. We went hands-on with the laptops, and they seem to be doing great. Around that time, Samsung said the Galaxy Book 6 series would launch in the US in the spring and in late January for well, um, other markets.

Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra prices and specs confirmed in Korea

As we inch closer to the end of January, Samsung’s Korea site has a dedicated micro page asking users to sign up for Galaxy Book 6 series launch notifications. The page confirms that the Galaxy Book 6 series will launch in Korea on January 27 at 9 AM local time. The most exciting part is that it lists all the key specs as well as local pricing in Korean won.

The micro page lists and compares the specs of the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Galaxy Book 6 Pro. The comparison table doesn’t include the base Galaxy Book 6 model. One of the major differences between the Book 6 Pro and Book 6 Ultra is the GPU. The former features Intel Arc Graphics, while the Ultra comes with NVIDIA RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 options.

Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra specs price Korea

The prices shown in the table are in Korean won, and a straight currency conversion won’t tell the full story. Still, it should give you a ballpark idea of what to expect when the Galaxy Book 6 series finally arrives in the US.

  • Galaxy Book 6 Ultra (NVIDIA RTX 5070): ₩4,930,000 (~$3,402)
  • Galaxy Book 6 Ultra (NVIDIA RTX 5060): ₩4,630,000 (~$3201)
  • Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16-inch: ₩3,510,000 (~$2,420)
  • Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16-inch: ₩3,410,000 (~$2,353)

So what do you think of the pricing? If you’re planning to upgrade to the Galaxy Book 6 series, you might want to make sure that you have reserved these. For every reservation, Samsung’s offering a $30 credit, which frankly isn’t much, but every penny counts, I guess.
