Samsung is ramping up excitement for its upcoming mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. Ahead of their official launch on March 2, the company has been dropping hints about the devices through teasers. A newly posted teaser on X highlights the “redefined” design of the new phones.
New Galaxy A56 teaser highlights its design and colors
Samsung recently posted a 14-second teaser on X, supposedly showing the Galaxy A56. “Sleeker. Stylish. Smarter. Stay tuned to meet the newest member of Galaxy A series,” the company captioned the video. It says the phone sports a “redefined” design that amplifies its awesomeness. For the uninitiated, Samsung uses the term “Awesome” to describe the A series.

While the overall design is largely unchanged, all three upcoming Galaxy A models introduce a new rear camera module. Instead of a minimalist setup, the devices sport a vertical camera bump. It looks more flashy and stylish. This is essentially what Samsung is talking about when it says a “redefined” design. There’s no other major change in looks.
The Galaxy A56 has a metallic frame, while the A36 and A26 are made of plastic. The latter also misses out on a punch-hole selfie camera, with Samsung opting for a U-shaped notch. However, the official teasers from Samsung India so far have only talked about the Galaxy A56. Maybe the company doesn’t plan to launch the other two devices in India. All three models are expected to go official on March 2.
Samsung has already started taking pre-orders in some regions. A banner posted by a Nigerian retailer confirmed “Awesome Intelligence” for the Galaxy A56 and A36. It’s a new trademark Samsung is using for AI-powered features for the Galaxy A lineup. These phones will support Circle to Search, but there’s no word on other AI features. Stay tuned for the official announcement.
