Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 Receiving One UI 8 Update in More Regions

Not too long ago, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 started receiving the One UI 8 update in their home turf. Now, the Android 16-based update is expanding to more regions, so you may want to check if it has reached yours.

One UI 8 update for Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 goes international

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A55 in India. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A35 is receiving the same update in Iran. Both updates also include the September 2025 security patch.

Those using either of these devices in the mentioned regions can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If it’s available, simply wait for the download to complete and tap Install now. The installation will take a bit of time, and after a restart, your device will be running One UI 8
