Samsung seems to be slowing down the One UI 8 rollout compared to last week. However, the November 2025 security update rollout is still moving ahead smoothly. The Galaxy A54 has now joined the growing list of devices that have started receiving the November patch. This continues Samsung’s monthly update cycle even as the major firmware rollout takes a slight pause.

Samsung pushes the latest November 2025 security patch to the Galaxy A54

The Galaxy A54 has started receiving the November 2025 security patch in the US with a build number of A546U1UESGEYK2. This is the first update the device is getting after the One UI 8 release. It mainly brings stability improvements and standard security fixes. The November patch addresses 45 vulnerabilities identified by Google, Samsung, and other security partners. The update has started rolling out in regions like the United States and Canada. It should expand to more markets soon.

So far, several mid-range and budget Galaxy devices have already received their November update. These include the Galaxy A34, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A06 5G, and now the Galaxy A54. Surprisingly, Samsung’s latest flagships and foldables, such as the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, haven’t received the November patch yet. However, Samsung is expected to release the update for these models in the coming days. If you own a Galaxy A54, you can check for the November update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update appears, tap Install now and your device will reboot with the latest patch.

The Galaxy A54 is also expected to receive the upcoming One UI 8.5 update as part of Samsung’s regular software policy. One UI 8.5 will debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026, and after the Unpacked event, Samsung should gradually roll it out to other eligible devices, including the A54. The update brings a bunch of UI improvements like smoother animations, better blur effects, improved Quick Settings customization, and an upgraded screen recorder. It also adds more rounded corners across the UI and refreshes several system apps, including Phone, Settings, and My Files.
