Galaxy A53 and A33 Pick Up One UI 8 in Europe; Tab S6 Lite Follows in SEA

Samsung continues to roll out the One UI 8 update to more devices worldwide. In the latest, the Galaxy A53 and A33 are now receiving the One UI 8 update in Europe. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite update is now available in several Southeast Asian regions.

After rolling out the One UI 8 update to Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 in home turf over a week ago, Samsung is now expanding the update to Europe as well (h/t Akhilesh Kumar). The build versions in question are A536BXXUHGYI9 and A336BXXUEGYI8. The update includes September 2025 security patch. It’s around 2.3GB for the Galaxy A53.

Speaking of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, it’s receiving the One UI 8 update in several countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand. The build version is P625XXU6CYJ5, and it also includes the September 2025 security patch. If you are outside these countries and waiting for the One UI 8 update on your Tab S6 Lite, you can expect it to arrive soon if past rollout patterns are any indication.

While full details about eligible devices are not yet available, it’s safe to assume that the Galaxy S25 series, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, will be among the first to participate.
