Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have been making a lot of headlines lately. A new leak now reveals the camera specifications of both phones, suggesting that the company is gearing up for major photography upgrades in its 2026 mid-range lineup. If this pans out, these models could raise the bar for mid-range camera hardware.

Leak reveals camera details of the upcoming Galaxy A37 and A57

According to Smartprix, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 may feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX906 sensor. However, in some regions, Samsung may use its own ISOCELL S5KGNJ sensor instead. Since the IMX906 is a 1/1.56-inch sensor, it will represent a substantial upgrade for the Galaxy A37. The predecessor, the Galaxy A36, uses a smaller 1/1.95-inch sensor, meaning the upcoming model should deliver better image quality, mainly in low-light conditions.

However, Samsung will separate the two models through their secondary cameras. The Galaxy A57 may sport a 13MP ultra-wide camera (ISOCELL S5K3L6 sensor), paired with a 5MP macro camera (GalaxyCore GC05A3 sensor). Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 may come with an 8MP ultra-wide camera (GalaxyCore GC08A3 sensor), along with the same macro camera sensor as the A57.

On the front, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 may feature 12MP selfie cameras, but with different sensors. The former may use a GalaxyCore GC12A2 sensor, while the latter may employ an ISOCELL S5K3LC sensor. Note that these camera specifications are based on leaked prototype information, and Samsung may still make changes before the official launch.

An earlier report suggested that Samsung could launch the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 earlier than usual. Both devices could go official in February 2026, about a month ahead of their usual March release schedule. As development progresses, we should learn more details about the phones in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026.
