A number of Galaxy devices have already received the July 2025 security patch, and those that haven’t are gradually getting it. Most recently, Samsung has begun rolling out the July 2025 security update to the Galaxy A34 in South Korea. This suggests a broader rollout to additional regions is likely in the coming days.

Samsung blesses the Galaxy A34 with July 2025 security update

As shared by Akhilesh Kumar on X, Samsung is now rolling out the July 2025 security update to the Galaxy A34. The update is still based on One UI 7, as the stable version of One UI 8 has yet to arrive, even for the Galaxy S25 series. That said, the Galaxy A34 is eligible for the Android 16-based One UI 8 update in the future.

This latest update comes with build number A346NKSSADYG1 and is approximately 309 MB in size. If you’re in South Korea, you can check for and download the update right away.

This also means the update should begin rolling out in other regions where the Galaxy A34 is officially available in the coming days. South Korea is typically the first to receive software updates, and that hasn’t changed this time.

Samsung’s July 2025 security patch improves system stability and addresses 40 vulnerabilities, including a critical flaw in Android. It also enhances features like Knox security, Samsung Account integration, Galaxy Watch UI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi password handling, and Emergency SOS. Most recent flagship models have already received the patch, which boosts both performance and security behind the scenes.

Once the update becomes available to you, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. It’s always a good idea to keep your device updated with the latest patches. Try to use Wi-Fi and make sure your phone is sufficiently charged before updating to avoid any issues.
