After a flurry of leaks, Samsung may have finally announced that Galaxy A26, A36 and A56 are indeed coming. In today’s announcement, Samsung confirmed that new Galaxy A series phones are coming, and all signs point to these very three.
Galaxy A26, A36, A56 launch date confirmed, coming on March 2
A teaser webpage on Samsung India has confirmed the much-anticipated launch date — March 2, just a week away. The teaser image showcases the silhouette of two phones. But chances are, Samsung will launch up to three, including Galaxy A26, A36, and A56. Below the teaser, there’s a registration form where eager fans can sign up. You’ll need to enter your Name, Email, Mobile Number, and Pin Code to receive the official announcement details.
The upcoming Galaxy A series phones are rumored to offer six OS updates. Given that they are expected to launch with One UI 7 out of the box, they could potentially receive updates up to One UI 13 — or Android 21. On top of that, a handful of accessories for the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 have also leaked, giving us a sneak peek at what’s coming. Not to mention, we’ve already seen several renders floating around.
Meanwhile, a report from yesterday suggests that Samsung may price the Galaxy A26 and A36 at the same level as their predecessors in the US. However, there’s no such hint regarding the Galaxy A56. In India, though, prices have already made their way into the rumor mill. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Galaxy A36’s 128GB/8GB variant could carry a price tag of INR 32,999. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A56’s 128GB/8GB model might be priced at INR 41,999. Although US pricing remains under wraps, India is seeing a price hike. At least for the Galaxy A36 and A56. The Galaxy A56 could also be the first mid-ranger to support Galaxy AI features.
