Galaxy A16 4G Picks Up One UI 8 Update in Korea

Not many Samsung phones are left to receive One UI 8, which means the rollout is close to being completed. This Monday, Samsung continued pushing the latest update to more devices. The Galaxy A16 4G is now among them, as it has started receiving the One UI 8 update in its home market.

Samsung is now rolling out One UI 8 update to Galaxy A16 4G in Korea

One UI 8 is now available for Galaxy A16 4G users in Korea. The update arrives with build version A165NKSU3CYK1 and includes the November 2025 security patch (h/t Mohammed Khatri).

If you’re in Korea and own a Galaxy A16 4G, you can go ahead and update your device to the latest firmware. Just head to Settings > Software update > Download and install, then tap Install now to upgrade to One UI 8.

The One UI 8 update brings a host of new features you’re sure to appreciate. These include a new animated clock and dynamic lock-screen wallpapers, improved multitasking with a 90:10 split-screen option. As well as an updated Quick Share, and much more. Samsung is also working on One UI 8.5, which is expected to launch publicly alongside the Galaxy S26 series. A beta program may begin even sooner, though the Galaxy A16 4G won’t be included. Still, we’ve detailed all the upcoming features and improvements you can expect in the next update.
