Galaxy A07 5G Surfaces on Google Play Console Ahead of Launch

In the coming weeks, Samsung could take the wraps off the Galaxy A07 5G. The LTE variant of the entry-level phone has already been made official. There won’t be many differences between the two, aside from 5G support and a 1,000mAh battery boost. We have already spotted multiple signs that the Galaxy A07 5G is getting closer to launch, and this may be one more.
Samsung Galaxy A07 5G spotted on Google Play Console as it nears launch
As spotted by folks at The Tech Outlook, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A07 5G has also been added to the Google Play Console database. Typically, phones appear on the Play Console shortly before launch, making this yet another sign that the release is on the horizon. The listing also reveals the phone’s front and back design, which, unsurprisingly, matches that of its LTE counterpart.

The Galaxy A07 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, the same chipset used in its predecessor. One welcome upgrade is that it will run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box, a step up from the LTE variant’s Android 15. It is also expected to receive six years of major Android and security updates.
The device has already appeared on Samsung’s support pages and on Geekbench. Plus, it recently showed up on the Bluetooth SIG website as well, further confirming some details. Now all that remains is the official reveal, which should also bring pricing information and additional specifics. That will be worth watching closely, especially given the ongoing memory chip shortages. Even so, the Galaxy A07 5G may still be Samsung’s most affordable and budget-friendly 5G smartphone.
