A few days ago, we exclusively revealed the first look of the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung’s upcoming affordable flagship. Now, we have the actual photo of the phone, courtesy of a certification listing. The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certified the unreleased device and listed a live image on its website.

Galaxy S25 FE’s live photo confirms its design, Qi2 support

The WPC listed the Galaxy S25 FE with the model number SM-S731. An accompanying live photo shows the device from the front and back, confirming its design we exclusively revealed earlier. The handset sports a standard Samsung look with three rear cameras arranged vertically on the top left corner, without any separate housing.

The overall look is similar to the regular Galaxy S25, but Samsung has retracted the camera ring redesign. Instead of those chip-like rings, the Fan Edition model has more classic rings, similar to the Galaxy S24. The display bezels aren’t visible, but we can see a punch-hole selfie camera. The handset appeared in grey, so it should be one of the official color options.

The WPC certified the Galaxy S25 FE with Qi 2.1.0, similar to all other Qi2-compatible Galaxy devices. This essentially means the phone is Qi2-ready but doesn’t feature built-in magnets. Instead, you require a compatible case to enable Qi2 features like magnetic alignment and accessory support.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE in September or October this year. It may be accompanied by a bunch of other models, as the company also has new wireless earbuds, Android tablets, a tri-fold, and a pair of XR headsets in the pipeline. More details should be available in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Samsung is all set to launch its latest foldables and watches later today at its Unpacked event in New York.
