Exynos 2600 CPU Details Leak Ahead of Galaxy S26 Launch

Samsung is all geared up to launch its first 2nm processor next year. The Exynos 2600 is expected to power the Galaxy S26 in some regions, if not globally. A fresh leak has now offered the clearest and most detailed look yet at the upcoming chipset’s CPU key specs. If the figures are accurate, the new Exynos is shaping up to be anything but modest.

Exynos 2600 CPU: Big jump in clock speed

According to the leak, the Exynos 2600 is a deca-core processor built around a tri-cluster CPU architecture. It features one prime core clocked at up to 3.9GHz and six performance cores running at 3.25GHz. The three efficiency cores operate at a frequency of 2.75GHz. Some reports point to a slightly lower 3.8GHz peak clock, likely due to differences in how testing platforms or internal builds report frequencies.

Nonetheless, this would still rank among the highest peak clock speeds ever achieved on a Samsung mobile SoC. While not as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which goes up to 4.74GHz, a deca-core setup should help the Exynos 2600 deliver solid multi-core performance.

Manufactured on Samsung Foundry’s 2nm process, this chip also has a theoretical efficiency advantage over competing solutions. A lot depends on how well Samsung optimized the chip, though.

On the graphics side, the leak claims the Exynos 2600 integrates an AMD JUNO-based GPU clocked at around 985MHz. Other sources report a GPU frequency of 980MHz. Samsung is expected to market this GPU under the Xclipse 960 name, continuing its partnership with AMD’s RDNA graphics architecture.

The upgraded GPU supports Vulkan 1.3 (or Vulkan 1.4), OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3.0, pointing to strong gaming and graphics compute capabilities. If Samsung can pair this hardware with better driver optimization than previous generations, the Exynos 2600 could finally close the long-standing GPU gap with Snapdragon-based rivals.

As always, until Samsung makes everything official, you should take these leaks with caution. That said, if even most of the reported specs hold true, the Exynos 2600 could represent the Korean firm’s strongest comeback yet in the flagship chipset race.
