Samsung has been on a roll lately, especially in India, where it finally released the first One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series, which is also the second beta for other regions. Since it’s Monday, the company also rolled out the December 2025 security patch for many Galaxy devices. In total, 13 models received the December 2025 security update in India. Some of the key devices include the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE.

Most of these models had already received the December 2025 patch in other regions last week. Now, Samsung has expanded the rollout to India. With these security updates, the update covers devices from the S series, A series, M series, foldables, and tablets. The December 2025 security patch fixes around 68 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and their partners. It does not bring any major new features, but it improves system security and overall stability.

Here’s the list of Galaxy devices that received the December 2025 patch in India today, along with their build versions:

Other key updates released today in India

An interesting thing to note is that Samsung also released updates for the Galaxy M34 and Galaxy F34 in India today. However, these devices received the November 2025 security patch, not December. They carry the build versions M346BXXS9EYK1 and E346BXXS9EYK1 respectively. This adds two more devices to today’s update activity, taking the total count to 15 devices.

If you own any of the devices mentioned above and are in India, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download is complete, tap Install now to update your device.
